doctor who baby shower

(yep, it's a thing!)

My children's former babysitter and dear family friend Jamie (and extreme Doctor Who fan) was having a baby, so a friend and I put together a Doctor Who baby shower for her.

Which was pretty funny especially given that the host friend and I had never seen a single episode of Doctor Who (and I still haven't!). But it made for a fun and very original theme for a baby shower!

The invitation was especially fun to create with an opening Tardis (still don't know what the heck a Tardis exactly is, though!) and all sorts of Doctor Who lingo that I hope I used correctly!

regeneration game

I know most baby shower games are pretty lame, and this one probably was, too, but at least it was creative! I froze plastic babies in a Tardis-shaped ice cube tray. Everyone received a drink with a Tardis/baby ice cube in it. Whoever noticed first that their baby was free of the Tardis had to yell "REGENERATION!" (instead of "my water broke!") to claim a prize.
